Steven Kousen is vice president and a technology executive for Unisys Federal where he leads the cloud shared services team. As part of Steve’s role he is responsible for the portfolio solutions strategy, development, pursuit and delivery of commercial cloud solutions and integration services, including Google, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft technologies.
Previously, Steve led the Unisys Federal Engineering organization comprised of 450 engineers, architects, and program managers, delivering large-scale complex systems integration engagements at the Department of Homeland Security, the Transportation Security Administration, and the Department of Health and Human Services.
Before joining Unisys in 2003, Steve spent four years with KPMG Consulting, leading IT strategy and systems integration, and two years with General Electric Healthcare, leading the Global Systems, Operations and Architecture organization. Prior to that, he spent two years with Booz Allen Hamilton, leading corporate strategy and execution for global messaging and internet services, and with Electronic Data Systems for nine years, leading applications development and systems management services.
Steve holds an M.B.A. degree in management information systems and decision sciences from Loyola University Maryland and a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Kousen also holds certifications in project management (PMP-PMI), IT service management (ITIL v.3 Foundations), cloud sales and solutions (Google and Amazon Web Services), and quality process improvement (Six Sigma Black belt).
